Warranties

Limited Warranty Policy

  1. This warranty applies only to the products carried or distributed by Qube that can be identified through its serial no. and warranty sticker.
  2. Items purchased from Qube are fully warranted with a maximum of two (2) years from the date of purchase or depending upon the number years/month indicated in the warranty slip. Two (2) years free service shall also apply.
  3. Claims to warranty shall be valid only when the products are returned with the warranty sticker attached and unaltered, warranty date does not exceed the two (2) years period, and is supported with a sales receipt.
  4. Upon upgrades of due to defects and irreplaceable item(s), the warranty sticker shall be dated at the month and year the original defective item was purchased. This shall be made clear with the customer before processing to avoid misunderstandings.
  5. For Outside Metro Manila: upon contacting us, we will issue a Return Material Authorization Number for you to include with your return. You must return the products to us in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. We will return the repaired or replacement products to you. We will ship the repaired or replaced products to you freight collect.
    • Note: Before you ship the products to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information and removable media such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
  6. If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.
  7. During the warranty period, we will repair any Qube products returned that are prove to be defective in materials or workmanship. If we are not able to repair the product, we will replace it with a comparable product that is new or refurbished.
  8. Qube’s responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware is limited to repair and replacement as set forth in this warranty statement.
  9. All express and implied warranties for the product, including but not limited to any implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of the limited warranty period reflected on your packing slip or invoice. No warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the limited warranty period has expired.

    This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:

    1. Software, including the operating system and software added to the Qube-branded hardware products through our factory integration system, third-party software, or the reloading of software
    2. Problems that result from:
      • External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, neglect or mishandling, improperly adjusted or maintained drives, incorrect environments, problems with electrical power, or wear from ordinary use;
      • Servicing not authorized by Qube;
      • Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions;
      • Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance;
      • Problems cause by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by Qube.
    3. Products with missing or altered warranty tags and/or serial numbers.
    4. Products for which Qube has not received payment.

    Transfer of Ownership and limited Warranty:

    • Transferring of ownership and limited warranty to 3rd party are permitted; however, Qube shall be notified first with the personal information of the said 3rd party. Without the authorization number from Qube, the limited warranty shall not be applicable to the 3rd party.
