General
Terms:
QUBE warrants your QUBE/Shuttle branded
computer “product”, including parts and labor, against any
defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage
conditions in accordance with general industry standards for
a period of 24 months for parts and 12 months for depot service. The terms apply to product(s)
purchase directly from QUBE Online (www.buyqube.com or
410-QUBE (7823)).

Duration of Warranty:
The warranty period for product commences from the date of
your invoice for a period of 24 months. The warranty period
shall not be extended or reset if QUBE authorizes the repair
or replacement of any components, parts, or complete
products by either QUBE or an authorized agent, and shall
continue for the remainder of the warranty period from the
date of original invoice.
Exception is for QUBE accessories, which the duration of
warranty is 30 days from date of invoice.
All refurbished or close-out products are sold “as-is”
condition and excluded from the QUBE's Standard Limited
Warranty Policy.
Any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness are
limited to the duration of this warranty – exclusions may
exist from state to state and jurisdictionally.

Out of Warranty Service :
Products received by QUBE with expired
warranty or no warranty shall be charged a minimum of
P350.00 for labor and any additional costs associated for
parts replacement. QUBE will only service the
product.
Qube shall contact buyer for written
authorization or “Work Order” before any product servicing or
repairing begins.
Buyer shall be responsible for cost of freight
both ways for out-of-service products.
All serviced or repaired products shall
receive a 30 days limited guarantee commencing from the date
on packing list.
Charge:
- P350.00 check up fee
- Pickup within Metro Manila - P150.00 one
way + Check up fee P350.00.
- Home Service - P1,000.00 Check-up fee
included.

Limitations
of Coverage:
The warranty excludes any physical damage or
damages resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence, modification
in hardware or performance (e.g., overclocking), improper
maintenance, accidents, acts of God, unauthorized servicing,
or usage in any unsuitable or abnormal operating environment.
The warranty becomes voided unconditionally
with any unauthorized disassembly or removal of any hardware
components from product.
The warranty becomes voided unconditionally
for products with any missing or altered identification number
tags.
The warranty does not cover any third-party
software - including any pre-installed, reloaded or
subsequently installed operating systems or application
programs. All third-party software issues should be directed
to respective software vendors.
The warranty does not cover any subsequently
installed hardware components, software, or peripherals used
in conjunction with the product.
The warranty does not cover undocumented
ownership transfer. Transfer of warranty requires an express
written request from original purchaser and must be submitted
to Qube with transferee's contact information for
documentation and approval. Absence written documentation and
approval, all warranties shall be voided for transferee. All
valid warranty transfers are subject to the same terms and
conditions as set forth in original warranty.
- The warranty does not warrant
compatibility of any third-party software or hardware
components with product, unless otherwise specified.
- The warranty does not cover lost or
stolen products.
- The warranty does not cover
uninterrupted or error-free operations of product in
accordance with industry standards.
- The warranty does not cover products
which payments have not been received by Qube.
- The warranty does not cover products
with expired warranties.

Limitation of Liability:
Liability of QUBE shall be limited to the
scope of remedies set herein and excludes any incidental or
consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages
or claims incurred from lost of data, non-availability of
product, or third-party claims. QUBE shall only be liable
for the maximum amount paid for product on a valid claim by
purchaser.

Change/Cancellation
of Order
QUBE makes every effort to accommodate
requests to change or cancel orders. However, orders
typically enter production within 2 hours, after which point they
cannot be changed or cancelled.
QUBE only guarantees that requests for changes
or cancellations within 1 hour of the order being
placed will be honored.
After an order has entered production, its
components are considered used goods and therefore their
resale value is reduced.
All cancellation must be submitted within 1
hour after placing order and require email confirmation
provided by customer service. To obtain the confirmation

Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy:
A product shall be deemed for RMA when the
product is defective in material and workmanship and fails
to operate, function or perform under the product's original
intended purpose within the first 24 months from the date of
invoice.
RMA s do not include any third-party software;
cosmetic or physical damages resulting from normal wear and
tear, methods of transport other than normal industry
standard; any damages incurred as a direct result of user
misuse, negligence, mishandling; or as a result of incidental
or consequential damages.
RMA s may be returned for repair or
replacement of parts or product within 24 months from the
original invoice date. QUBE defines any replacements as
reconditioned, or equivalent in value or performance of their
original parts or product.
Buyer shall be responsible to ensure all
returning products to QUBE are properly and securely
packaged and return with proof of delivery.
QUBE disclaims any liability for loss of data
resulting from repair or replacement of product or its
parts. Buyer shall be responsible for the removal or
backing-up of data prior to the shipment of product to QUBE.
QUBE disclaims any liability for returned
products damaged during transport resulting from improper
packaging by buyer. The customer shall pay 2-way freight
charges.
- All authorized returning RMA products
shall receive a Return Merchandise Authorization ( RMA )
number for return to QUBE.
- All returning RMA products must have
a clearly marked RMA number on the outside package and an
included RMA form inside.
- All unauthorized RMA returns shall be
returned and charged to sender with all applicable fees.
- All RMA
numbers are valid only for 14 days from date of issuance
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s)
to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and
any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any
confidential, proprietary, or personal information and
removable media such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. QUBE will not be responsible for any of your confidential,
proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data;
or damaged or lost removable media. QUBE will automatically
erase all pirated/illegal software brought to its service
centers.

QUBE
Return Policy:
QUBE prides itself on providing complete
customer satisfaction by offering quality products and
service. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied
with your new system, then QUBE offers the following return
policy:
You may return your system in new condition
for credit within two (2) business days from
the receipt date. You will receive full refund or store credit
for the hardware price, minus 5% of the total amount for
assembly and shipping and handling.
Software are non-refundable, and less
another 5% for missing accessories or packaging.
New condition consists of:
- System, peripherals and all
accessories in like new condition
- No physical damage to system,
peripherals, or accessories
- All original packaging and materials
included
After 5 days and/or up to fifteen (15)
business days from the receipt date, the system may
be returned for credit with a 15% restocking fees (excluding
software, shipping, and handling). System, peripherals, and
accessories must be returned in like new condition to avoid
additional charges. All packaging must be included.
QUBE Return Policy applies to products
purchased directly from
WWW.BUYQUBE.COM OR 410-QUBE.
To return products, you must follow qube RMA procedures. All returned product must be in same condition
as you received them and complete with the original packaging
materials. Customer is responsible for risk of loss, shipping
and handling fees for returning the products. All software is
provided subject to the license agreement that is part of the
software package and you agreed that you will be bound by such
license agreement. You must return all pre-loaded software
with the product or other software and only if the package has
not been opened. All open software are not returnable and
if you fail to follow the return instruction and policies
provided herein, QUBE is not responsible whatsoever for the
product lost, damaged, modified or otherwise processed for
disposal or resale. QUBE will not accept return of any
products purchased from a Reseller. THIS RETURN POLICY IS
NOT A WARRANTY. Additional restriction may apply on
certain products.

Non-performing
Pixels
QUBE is committed to customer
satisfaction by providing the highest quality products in
the industry. The result is that our QUBE LCD displays
generally have very few non-performing pixels. For example, an
17" (1280 x 1024) display has nearly 4 million sub-pixels. A
product exhibiting 6 non-performing pixels would equate to an
extremely small 0.00018 percent of the total sub-pixels.
To ensure the highest
performing displays, QUBE sets limits as to the allowable
number of pixel anomalies. QUBE has adopted the following
pixel criteria to supplement our existing one-year limited
warranty. This policy applies to all QUBE LCD displays
during the warranty period.
- QUBE sets limits on 17" LCD's at 3
bright sub-pixels, 6 dark sub-pixels, or a combination of 6.
Explanation
A pixel or picture element, is composed of
three sub-pixels in the primary colors of red, green, and
blue. At each pixel position in an AMLCD (active matrix liquid
crystal display) flat screen monitor, three cells of liquid
crystal material form the red, green and blue sub-pixels that
together allow the full range of colors to be displayed.
Individual transistors are arranged in an array on the rear
glass to control each sub-pixel. An anomaly on any one of
these individual transistors will cause a bright or dark pixel
to appear. These anomalies generally occur only during
manufacturing, and additional bright or dark pixels should not
appear over time.
* The allowable number of
non-performing pixels has a direct impact on the yield of the
process. If the industry attempted to set a zero standard, the
current manufacturing yield would be so low that the cost of
an LCD display would be many times higher than it is today.
Luckily, most customers and applications are tolerant of a low
level of non-performing pixels and prefer the lower cost that
the existing standards allow.
